Volunteer Reimbursement

The Troop reimburses the following types of expenses:

• Budgeted or pre‑approved items authorized by the Troop Committee. Examples include troop gear, Scoutmaster purchases, awards, patches, etc…

• Costs covered by funds raised through the troop store. For example, if an activity requires a $5 entrance fee, that fee may be listed as a $5 signup item in the troop store. Each participant pays the $5 through the store, and the total amount collected will be reimbursed to the person who paid the entrance fees on behalf of the group.

• Scouting America (BSA) Adult Volunteer Membership Dues reimbursement is available for registered adult leaders who have actively volunteered more than 10 hours in the past year.
